Our Story

Having studied at a Hampshire college specialising in floristry, Julie went on to develop her elegant floral style working for the internationally renowned floral artist, Paula Pryke before opening the flag ship Moutan Flowers shop on Odiham High Street in 2002. 

Five years later Moutan expanded to a second flower shop on Hartley Wintney High Street with a concession stand in the award-winning Newlyns Farm Shop following shortly after. Our Farnham store launched in September 2019 continuing the long tradition of a florist in the historic Borelli Yard.

Moutan is renowned for fresh seasonal flowers and romantically beautiful bouquets as well as wonderful flowering plants, house and garden plants as well as gifts, garden and homewares and accessories all which take inspiration from the beautiful surrounding countryside.

Whether shopping in-store or online, our local delivery service, by our dedicated team, is available to you covering the North-Hampshire and West-Surrey areas from Basingstoke to Guildford and all the places in between!

Our weddings and events team specialise in designing stunning floral creations for all occasions from intimate gatherings to larger extravagant celebrations and in all settings from home to castle!

Our passion for flowers extends to our floral workshops held in our Odiham flower shop.With a diary of events throughout the year, join us to learn a range of floristry techniques and skills from festive wreaths, to wedding flowers, floral crowns, and seasonal vase arrangements.
